At our school we, a group of six girls performed in the hall, Romeo and Juliet Production. The day before we performed at the towns little theatre. It was SO fun, and I loved every bit of it, costumes, the stage, props, and especially the acting! Here is a slideshow of the photos of the production. By the way, I played the role of Capulet!!

SWIMMING SPORTS
Swimming sports was a very hot day, thankfully, that means people didn't shiver constantly throughout the day! Year five and up walked down to the local swimming pools, in their houses, chanting. When we approached the pools, we went to our spots to sit and wait for our races. The day was filled with lots of cheering, splashing, plunging, squinting, and all the stuff that's usual for Swimming Sports Day! Here is a recount of my favourite part of the day.
ARATOI EXHIBIT
Both our classes, room 13 and 14 went to a Aratoi exhibit. Before hand we did work on eels, to make sure we knew a bit about them before we went to the exhibit. There weren't any eels there, but it was still a fun experience learning about the Maori stuff. We had morning tea there, and we came back on the bus. We got to school at lunch time. Then the next week the other class did the same.
